Nwabisa Lisa, who was born in Cape Town, Guguletu decided to leave her corporate accounting job in 2013 and venture into event management as well as radio as a broadcaster full time.
She is a content creator who creates her own events like award shows, gala dinners, women empowerment workshops and conferences.
Her passion for hosting prestigious events saw her going between MC’ing, marketing and constantly going to the kitchen to make sure that the food is prepared to the glamorous standard to keep the guests happy.
Nwabisa, loves cooking, it is therapeutic to her, most importantly she loves making her clients happy which is evident every time she does her private chef offering. Her famous words are “I always win in my kitchen”.
Her catering company, KwaLisa Soulfood, caters for small, medium and large events.
In 2019 she was a guest chef on Afternoon Express for several episodes and in 2020 before Lockdown, she hosted a successful Cooking Class in Port Elizabeth and left the people begging for more. Her plan is to host these classes all around South African.
Her favourite food is African Cuisine however flexible enough to cook other cuisines like French cuisine, Asian cuisine etc.
