Marc Lottering extends Hallelujah! by popular demand

Due to incredible public demand, Afro-man Marc Lottering will be extending Hallelujah! after yet another exceptional run in the Mother City.

Hallelujah! is directed by David Kramer and has recently been nominated for a prestigious Naledi Award for the Best Production of a Revue. The show played to a sell-out season in Cape Town last year, prior to moving on to a phenomenal run in Jo’burg.  The season that has just ended at the Baxter Concert Hall has had audiences clamouring for tickets, resulting in the show being sold out since it opened during the festive season.

Audiences have been kept in stitches as Lottering effortlessly moves from one hilarious character to the next, telling the story of how they are all somehow connected to the same church. Lottering fans will recognise the familiar favourites such as Colleen the cashier, Galatia Geduldt, Smiley the taxi dude, and the endearing Auntie Merle Abrahams from Belgravia Road in Athlone. He also introduces a brand new and instantly recognisable character, Pastor Brandon.

Hallelujah! will run at the Baxter Concert Hall from the 6th to the 17th February from Tuesdays to Saturdays at 20h15.  Tickets are priced at R65 and R75 and advance booking through Computicket or 083 915 8000 is essential to avoid disappointment.

Hallelujah! is not suitable for children.
