Natalie B Becker

Natalie Becker is an actress, presenter, host and speaker, winning a Best Supporting Actress in a Feature Film SAFTA (South African Film and Television Award) for her portrayal of ‘Farah’ in ‘The World Unseen’ based on Shamim Sarif’s award-winning novel. Natalie plays opposite John Malkovich as ‘Soraya’ in ‘Disgrace’, based on J. M Coetzee’s Booker Prize-winning novel, stars in ‘The Deal’ opposite William H. Macy and Meg Ryan and plays ‘Astarte’ in ‘Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior’ (Universal Pictures). Natalie plays ‘Ariad’ in the BBC film ‘Atlantis: Death of a World: Birth of a Legend’ and stars in HBO series, Strike Back and in the Universal pictures movie, Tremors: Bloodline. In 2014 Natalie starred in ‘Isidingo’ on SABC3 as ‘Laila and stars a judge in series ‘TopActorSA’.


Natalie’s hosted Television shows on all major SA channels including the conscious living show, ‘Free Spirit’ which won a Best Magazine Show SAFTA (South African Film and Television Award). Natalie travelled into Africa to host ‘It’s Africa’s Time’, a CNBC Africa television show focused around the United Nations Development Program and the UN Millennium Development Goals.


Natalie hosted and produced Radio shows on GHFM and Heart FM, with some of the Western Cape’s highest listenership and was part the 2000FM national radio station team and during 2 radio shows from Oslo, Norway, during Nobel Peace Prize Week in December 2014, launched the ’67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela’ project -a philanthropic endeavour to knit and donate blankets to those who need them. She interviewed The Nobel Peace Centre, to commemorate Nelson Mandela’s passing, Mr. Mandela being a Nobel Peace Laureate, and to highlight 20 years of democracy in South Africa. Natalie co – founded ‘The Bridge Project’ to foster cultural and creative collaborations between Norway and South Africa. She is also co – co- founder of Thought Leader Global Media.


University of Cape Town and Common Purpose Meridian Leadership Program graduate, Natalie is involved with social development and life skills projects and is an ambassador for the organization MOT (‘Courage’ in Norwegian). Natalie was invited to attend Andrea Kerzner’s ‘Lalela Project’ Fundraiser in New York and completed the 2011 New York Marathon, raising funds for Elana Meyer’s JAG Foundation. In September 2014, Natalie completed the 10km race in the Oslo Marathon to raise awareness and funds for MOT SA, a Norwegian –South African Organisation, teaching life skills training to learners. Natalie is a sports ambassador for #UniteForMandela, a collaboration between the Departments of Arts and Culture and Sports and Recreation.


‘A writer, Natalie was Lifestyle Editor for ‘The Deal’ magazine and wrote the ‘Tao of Nat’, an inspirational manifesto for learners. She regularly contributes features about Arhatic Yoga and Pranic Healing.


Speaker and Master of Ceremonies, Natalie hosts and is keynote speaker at corporate, philanthropic and social events and travels and works globally.
