Hold onto your cowhands! Angels on Horseback, the wildly entertaining musical rodeo of tongue-in-cheek lyrics and thigh-slapping rhythms is pure country and western fun!

Directed by Fleur Du Cap Award winner Peter Hayes and with the gals dressed by Hip Hop, Angels on Horseback leave no issue as sacred with their unique and hilarious take on all aspects of South African life. The show is inspired by country music legends such as Dolly Parton and John Denver, features original songs and a sprinkling of well-known country covers, and includes some foot-stomping audience line-dancing.

These feisty gals know two things for sure: one is that men folk can give a lot of uphill, and many a lonely girl will relate to the lament of the serial singleton 'Don't call me, I'll call you.' The other is that Ryk Neethling is a living god and he is celebrated in the rollicking 'Ode to Ryk Neethling', which has female audience members singing along in agreement: "Give me Ryk Neethling on a silver tray!"

So be sure to dust off your Stetson and get ready for some hat-throwing, tassel-shaking, calf-roping, whiskey-swigging kinda song and dance!
