Gareth Brauteseth

Gareth has been blessed with awesome experiences and stories that have moulded him into a versatile MC, keynote speaker and presenter.

Teaming up with 5 dynamic adventurers, he led an unsupported expedition from Cairo to Cape Town on bicycles in order to raise $250 000 for Millennium Promise, working to rid Africa of Poverty. After 7 months, 10 countries, deserts, forests, hills and winters he led the team into Cape Town, successful in their goals, with many lessons learnt proving many sceptics wrong.

Adventure in Africa ignited a passion for the continent and its people. The lessons learnt on the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro on a recent successful summit bid reinforce the challenge and potential that is evidenced throughout the continent.

With this extreme adventurous background Gareth was chosen from thousands of hopefuls across South Africa as a contender in the gruelling reality TV show, the Bar One Manhunt. Through Skydiving, White water rafting in Zimbabwe, Camel Racing in Dubai, Sailing in the Seychelles, 4x4ing in the South African lowveld and directing a Bar One advertisement complete with death defying stunts, Gareth emerged as one of the Bar One finalists.

Since the show Gareth has been in great demand as a public speaker where he is often used as an MC for corporate functions also appearing on radio and in the press.
