Brandon's passion for sport started at a young age playing everything that he found interesting from tennis and table tennis to cricket and even baseball. Many of his friends took the step up to higher honours on a provincial and national stage and he went on to working behind the scenes, first in rugby and then onto media. Brandon worked for the Chris Burger Petro Jackson Fund, working very closely with SA Rugby on injury prevention making sure the game of rugby is safer for all to play and it was during this time that he developed a taste for media.
