Tats Nkonzo is a rising comedian blazing comedy clubs all over Johannesburg. Firing up his audience with his unique brand of observational humour, Tats is set to break out and establish himself as a comic force to be reckoned with. Having graduated from AAA School of Advertising and pursued a career as an account executive at The Jupiter Drawing Room, Johannesburg, Tats Nkonzo has always gravitated towards creative expression. His creative flair is clearly seen and is flourishing in the stand-up comedy circuit.

A finalist in the first season of this hit reality show for stand up comics, Tats Nkonzo left a lasting impression on judges and producers alike. Such was the impact that, even after elimination (Top 8), he was requested to prepare material as a guest performer in the final round of the competition.

CLUB COMEDY
Tats Nkonzo has been performing in the Johannesburg comedy circuit. From Wish to Gold Reef City, The Blues Room to Parker's Comedy and Jive at Monte Casino, he has shared stages with comedy giants like Eddie Eckstein, Mel Miller, Nik Rabinowitz, Chris Forrest, Darren Maule and David Kau among others. He has also become an instant favourite on the Cape Town comedy scene after performing with the likes of David Newton, Dave Levinsohn and Kurt Schoonraad. His speedy rise from amateur to professional comedian is a sure sign of greater things to come.
